Tai Manea at Nicao

This is a well located two-bedroom holiday home which overlooks the beach and lagoon at Nikao. The living area is quite good, opening to a decking that enhances even more the feeling of space.

From this verandah you will enjoy the outlook over the lagoon and the waves breaking over the reef beyond. The reef is about 80 metres out and at low tide is a treasure trove of marine life. Most times you will see the vana (sea eggs), the rori (sea cucumber) and, if you are lucky , the eke (baby octopus) hiding in the coral. All these when prepared in the traditional ways are local delicacies. There are also some good swimming spots in the lagoon.

In the main bedroom there is a double bed and in the second bedroom there are two single beds which can be drawn together to form another double bed if required. The property has a full laundry, a well appointed kitchen with a refrigerator, a freezer, and a full stove and there is a microwave oven as well.

In the lounge there is a TV and a video player for your added enjoyment. This property is well priced for your vacation dollar and is on the north west of the island. The golf course and a superb local swimming area is some 1500 yards/metres down the way, the airport is convenient and the main shopping area of Avarua and the local markets are a five minute drive away.
